Get Six Pack Abs & Lose Belly Fat for Swimsuit Season
Posted by Bathing Suit Editor in Bathing Suit Weight Loss Tips
The quest to lose belly fat for swimsuit season is mandatory…
not only for workout fiends and bodybuilders but also for the soccer mom looking to don a bikini long after birthing her brood of children.
From weight loss and nutrition tips to streamlining losing belly fat, use these steps to get and maintain your six pack abs, quick and fast and ready for a bathing suit this summer.
Here’s how:
Step 1 – Focus on good nutrition to get your abs ready for a swimsuit.
Six pack abs will not magically appear without a serious commitment to healthy living and healthy eating. Increase your water intake. Reduce the amount of processed and fast foods that you consume.
Eat five small mini-meals every two to three hours. Add more fruits and vegetables into your diet while increasing your water consumption from one glass to six glasses or more. Remove white sugars, complex carbohydrates and fats from your diet.
Step 2 -Lose belly fat by shedding a few pounds.
You cannot achieve six pack abs quick without trimming the fat from your muscles. Get moving. Your abdominals will not reveal themselves if they are hiding behind layers of fat.
Plan to exercise six days out of the week to achieve your abdominal-trimming goal.
Whether you use cardio to drop the pounds or increase your weight training schedule to get lean and mean…weight loss is a requirement to reveal your toned body in a bathing suit or bikini.
Step 3 – Hire a personal trainer to get your abs, six pack ready.
A highly-qualified personal trainer is knowledgeable of body toning, core strengthening techniques, abdominal-shrinking diet tips and exercise physiology.
He or she can design a proper program to help you lose the belly fat, focus on proper nutrition, and reveal your slim tummy in swimwear.
If you cannot afford a personal trainer, check your local YMCA, church or community center for free cardio, nutrition and abdominal strengthening classes.
Step 4 – Do exercises that target the abdominals specifically.
Stomach crunches, leg lifts, reverse crunches, bent-elbow planks, bicycling, jack-knife sit-ups, and v-ups are exercises that can help you reach your goal of getting six pack abs fast.
Exercise your abs with a maximum of 20 repetitions. Make sure that you rest your stomach muscles a minimum of 60 seconds between each set of reps.
More six pack abs tips and tricks to get you ready for the summer swimsuit season:
- Use a six week goal to find your six pack ab and swimwear utopia. Even though you want to get your abdominal muscles lean and mean in a hurry, be realistic about the length of time that it takes to achieve your goal of six pack abs quick and fast.
- To achieve your summer bikini or bathing suit goal you must exercise a minimum of six days a week, and rest on the seventh day.
- Getting strong six pack abdominals has benefits beyond looking good in a bathing suit and feeling sexy. You can strengthen your back muscles, improve your posture, reduce strain on your knees and improve your swim, golf and tennis games.
- Don’t get discouraged is six pack abs do not magically appear immediately. For women in particular, losing excess fat is more difficult because our bodies store more fat than our male counterparts.
- Do not reduce your fat levels where you cannot menstruate properly or participate in anorexic and bulimic behaviors to obtain your 6-pack abs goal.
Summer is rapidly approaching and men and women are equally ambitious in their pursuit of sexy six pack abs to complement their bathing suit choices.
Getting six pack abs and losing belly fat is doable:
If you are willing to put in the discipline and hard work to reach your goal of flat abdominals for the upcoming bikini and bathing suit season.
