Beach Hair Products: Get Sexy Hair Perfect for Bikinis and Tankinis
Great beach hair used to be like a speedo swimsuit: Only a few mere mortals could rock a teeny-tiny red speedo and long cornrows à la Bo Derek!
But these new beach hair products changed that.
Whether you are using frizz-taming products or a flat-iron to smooth hair before hitting the beach, you can use these products to get classic and glam-worthy hair.
Forget wearing a bun or wearing a frizzy ponytail at the beach. Here’s how to create a great hairstyle with products for swimming and sunning.
Beach Hair Products You’ll Need
- Conditioner
- Shampoo
- Styling Lotion
- Volumizing mousse
- Flat iron
- Covered elastic bands
Step 1 -Condition and wash hair using beauty products formulated for your specific hair type.
Let a silicone-infused conditioner stay on damp hair for 5 minutes or more to tame frizz. Rinse hair thoroughly with cool water. Blot hair gently with a large towel, but do not dry strands completely.
Step 2 – Work a curl-enhancing gel, volumizing mousse or foam into damp hair.
Using a wide-tooth comb, distribute the beauty product evenly from roots to ends. By coating your wet strands with the gel /foam you’ll fight frizz before hitting the water.
Step 3 – Before heading to the beach, blow-dry hair thoroughly with a round brush.
Divide hair into 2-inch widths. Slide a ghd iron along each section from the mid-shaft to the ends.
Step 4 -Tie hair into ponytail using a covered hair band.
Twist hair until it begins to bend and coil back onto itself. Bend the ends back towards the beginning of the ponytail to form a loop. Stick the ends of the hair into the pony. Don’t worry about any small pieces that fall out of the pony– a little messy hair is super sexy.
Do you prefer sexy, just-got-out-of-bed waves instead of a ponytail?
1 -Begin by shampooing and conditioning your hair before bedtime. Gently rub with a large towel until hair is 90 percent dry. Distribute a dollop of gel or mouse throughout hair from roots to tips. Use a wide-tooth comb to coat strands evenly.
2 – Now, wring hair with your hands to create texture. Scrunch it and flip your hair over your head several times to create waves and volume before bedtime. When you wake up in the morning you’ll have crinkly and wavy hair that is perfect for the beach!
3 - Finish the look! To complete the style, wrap a large-barreled curling iron around different pieces of your hair –especially around the crown and the temples — to give extra bounce and body.
Voila! – you’ve got two fresh and fab hairstyles to complement your best swimwear and swimsuits this summer.
